We are members of the Certified General Accountants Association of Alberta and the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada. Our CGA Association is a self-regulating body governed by provincial, territorial and national legislation. Our CGA Association is committed to public interest and the professionalism of its members through a comprehensive Code of Ethical Principles and Rules of Conduct, mandatory continuing professional development and ongoing reviews of public practice firms and practitioners. The national and provincial Certified General Accountants Associations combine to represent more than 60,000 CGAs and students in Canada. CGAs are also well represented around the world in many different countries. The CGA Program of Professional Studies is offered through education centres in Bermuda, the Caribbean, China, and Hong Kong. There are more than 3,100 international members and students.
